LOL You know what, that is what makes Family Guy so great, you could watch that episode, not get that joke, think it was stupid (like me) then see a video on the internet that makes you laugh at the episode you saw a month ago. LOL

 

No kidding, each episode is packed with references and subtle tributes. I've gone back and watched old episodes and only then understood some jokes, which are hilarious. Bt the first time I didn't get it.

I've enjoyed the back to the future and Indiana Jones scenes on several eps this season as well.
