Nice find, but it dosn't really mean much. Fords engines have blown while the Hyundai people have reported for the seat belt binding recall, or the cracked manifold recall. It's just another statistic that can read how you want it to read.

That is the problem with those surveys. Equal weight is given to ALL flaws. If the plastic on your dash does not quite match that on the doors, it is equal to the car that blew it's engine three days old.

I have also found that the cheaper the car, the more picky seem to be.

I dunno about everyone else, but I'm waaay more concerned with the long term reliability of a car than the first 90 days of ownership. I've got three cars right now, which are 7, 19, and 44 years old! If you had to get something fixed early, say the seatbelt, but the car ran well for you for 12 more years, I'd still consider it quality. Might be interesting to see their 3-year survey later, but as DTN says, these things could be read any way you wanted. Still a good find tho!
