Anyone out there got a dark tint on their white cars (or more specifically a white XD Elantra)? I just wanna see how I like them before I think about tinting my windows...

 

i know there is a white 2nd gen tiburon around my town with dark tints and a bra. it looks really good. ive been meaning to talk to the owner but havent had a chance yet.

 

I have had two white cars and tinted both very dark. White is one of the best cars to tint. Just make sure it's dark.

 

My mother drives an '01 Accent coupe that's white with what would otherwise be illegal tint (she has a sun allergy, doc's note, whole 9 yards... she gets an exception).

It's otherwise stock, but still looks great. I'll have to remember to snag a photo or 5 and post sometime.

Because of that car, when I'm done paying for my 'Woo I think I'll score an accent coupe and dump some funds into it... but I prefer the "sleeper" approach smile.gif

6 years from now if you see an accent that's been slightly lowered, with dark tint, and a suspicious whine under the hood, you might *not* want to race....

 

Knoxville huh? My last car came from NC with tint that was illeagal as hell in Tennessee but no state trooper ever gave me crap about it. Guess TN just doesn't care.

Here you go. I have two pictures of my white cars.

My tiburon has 5% limo tint in rear and 15% in back.
The Monte Carlo is 18% in front and 15% in back.

The tib is hot and so is the monte, my cars tint looks like that also but when it like rains and looks gloomy out side....it gets that dark..Color of my car is Silver Mytalic..

 

Ah, the Monte Carlo body stlye before it was made @ss ugly. Pity its not RWD though because that body style screams out for some RWD power.
