I did it once, I'm not proud of it, but it happened, scared the shit out of me as I was doing it and well after. Circumstances were not in my favour to not drive but....... I think it's the mentality that "it won't happen to me" that gets people.
In all honesty man it's that type of thing that gets people in trouble, I know there's the legal limit and all that, but how do you know, ya know?
Just be careful man. That one beer can be the one that puts you over.
I say air these commercials. If your not being controversial (sp??) then your not doing anything.

......... I stopped that shit and now when I drive I donĀ“t drink, and least not much, a couple or three beers in the whole night, thatĀ“s all. smile.gif

I dunno, if you've only had a few....
I mean, if you can pass the sobriety test (some of those things are hard to do sober, i expect that's the point though..) you should be fine.
If I'm going to a party I'm always there with friends, and I'm always the one to drive. They always make me wait 1-2 hours after my last drink, that's a good rule. Yeah I'd probably be over the legal limit, but if I'm drunk enough to do something stupid and get pulled over for it, I deserved it because I shouldn't be driving. After 1-2 hours (unless you get waaasted) you should be good. That's just how I look at it..
I kinda think the legal limit is ridiculous, I mean, if I drink one beer, there's no way that that is going to impair my driving ability (theoretically, yes, but in reality....no way).

I Dont even drink - its pointless. Sure, some drinks taste good, but beer is just flat out f***ing discusting. Plus, I really dont like the feeling of being drunk. And they next day, your out of money.
same here, well said & couldn't agree more.

This is the combination to not get in trouble while drinking
0-0-1-3
0 underage drinking
0 drinking and driving
1 drink per hour
3 drinks per night
This is a good rule to follow. it's pretty much what your body can metabolize.
It's a rule that's being put out army wide.
