I was doing my usual readings on CNN and appearantly the US is trying to encourage fuel efficient cars with tax breaks and/or a nice little return just for buying one.

So my question is this? When is Hyundai going to come up with a hybrid so that we can get in on this!? lol

the only problem with fuel efficent cars... we are going to be looking at a road tax like the UK uses soon.. so while you are doing your best to save the enviroment (good) with an efficent car, you are not going to see much in the way of savings (bad) because they are going to start taxing more.

If I'm not mistaken, the government already has tax breaks on hybrid cars.
Unfortunately, it also has tax breaks for purchasing vehicles such as the Hummer and other very heavy vehicles..as long as they're used for work/bussiness related (or something like that).
