If you were looking to buy a certain car, and the most perfect one you wanted was located some where else...how far would you go to get it?

I flew to Washington DC to pick up a Beta Accent in Virginia and drive it back to Washington State, right around 3000 miles of driving, 3000 miles flying.

My brother used his spring break to fly up to Oregon to get my Tiburon. He took almost a week coming back - mainly to make a road trip out of it (national parks, skiing, etc). Also hit every kind of weather imageinable - blizzards, normal snow, thunderstorms with hail and tornados, and then warm sunny weather.
I was living in AL at the time, so I think it was about 2500 miles.

from kansas to ohio to pick up the dweetmobile. worst decision i have ever made in terms of hyundai's. never buy a car from ohio unless you like to use the torch wrench and tons of extra time working on a wannabe tuners car.
