Just curious what everyone is up to tomorrow for V-day? I'm taking Kaitlin out to dinner to a really nice swank restaurant thats right on the water (dim lighted and it over looks the beach and water front), and then we're going to see Step Up 2. *lol*

I hired a singing telegram to go and sing her something at her work, and also deliver 4 dozen roses, chocolate, balloons, and a teddy bear. Yeah, kind of extreme, but I'm a go big or go home type of guy, when it comes to that stuff. I personally think V-day is a bit of a joke anyway, because you shouldnt need one day out of the year to show your significant other how much you care. Just do it all the time. V-day is just an added bonus if you do things right. But any girl that says she doesnt like flowers or what ever on that day is full of crap. *haha*

So what you all doing for it?

Not sure what we're doing but it will be small what ever it is because we have V-day then on the 18th we have our 10 years of being together and the 19th for 3 years being married, so we have a lot to celebrate. But since we don't have much money I think that we are going to just enjoy time together us and the daughter. Maybe have the night to either watch a movie or play a game or something.

Yeah, I usually go all out with a trip to a resort for the anniversaries and a bunch of goodies for Valentine's day but I can't this year. We'll do a little something though.

I dont think were doing much either...were both pretty broke so I said maybe we shouldn't exchange gifts but Im driving down to see him and I think Wilbur mite make dinner cuz his parents mite be gone for the nite and we will probably watch a movie on cable! I dont really care though...I dont really need expensive dinners or items to be happy I almost prefer the small things!

The best date Wilbur and I had we walked around downtown Tacoma area and went into a few antique malls and a bookstore where I bought a book and than went to a park over looking the port of Tacoma and watched the sunset! It was perfect...we even ate Sushi at this lil restaurant in this old mall type of place in Tacoma!! wub.gif

I think that the hubby rolled all the holidays into last christmas considering all the nifty stuff he bought. I have never been one for big expensive presents. Not that I would ever turn them down. wink.gif But I don't need to have any of that to be happy. I like just being around him. That's what makes me happy. Spending the time with me to sit on the couch and watch a movie, or just being near him. It makes things so much better when He is around. I love him so much and I can't believe that we have been together for so long. 10 years... Wow that is so long! I am loving every minute though. We have been through so much and come such a long way. LOVE YOU BABY!!!!! wub.gif
