I worked in a movie theater through out high school. It was cool because I had my own money but sucked at the same time since it wasnt the greatest of jobs a person could have. But at least I got to see movies for free and before all my friends. laugh.gif What did you all do during high school?

and still do roofing during my uni semester breaks (oh and 'roofing' in aus is building the stick frame roof, not sheeting or tiling it)

 

Lifeguard at a waterpark. Saving young kids and fat people from 6.5 ft deep water.

 

Worked at Winn Dixie. Wasn't a bad job. Got away with a ton of crap.

 

Clerk at a "christian" book store for a summer, stayed on during the school year until christmas eve . . . got fired for refusing to work christmas day laugh.gif

 

Landscaping/Hardscaping and property maintenance at a near by apartment complex. Lost 28lbs in one summer

 

Worked at a Pizza place right after high school. 3 years of hell at that place 5-8 hours a day either standing in front of a 600 deg gas fired brick oven sweating my ass off, or standing in front of a wooden table rolling dough balls in the back room with no air conditioner. Least I got free pizza. Rollin dough balls gets you buff thou, its very physical when you have to roll out 3 batches of dough a day and where talkin dough batches that could fill a 5 gallon bucket. I was probably at my most fit in summer of 04 when I quit that job.

 

1st summer job - grunt at a plant nursery
2nd summer job - grunt at a sawmill
3rd summer/after school job - drafter at an engineering/surveyor's office
