So i was up in columbus, ohio yesterday when all the snow hit and the roads were a mess. we passed a ford focus who had a HUGE f-ing problem on his hands:

His right front wheel was turned all the way to the right, as in perpendicular with the wheel well. His left front tire was turned all the way to the left, also perpendicular to the wheel well. Basically, on the right it looked like he had tried to turn right and on the left side it looked like he was trying to turn left. imagine the >'s are his tires...kinda looked like this:

what could make that happen? when we drove past i'm like WTF how did he do that?

 

On a focus? It sounds like his Tie Rods snapped or at least one of them did.

 

I doubt it was done intentially... it was either as Java said.. or he lost a wheel and it was jammed into the well.
