well about a month ago when i was working on my proportioning valve with my little brother and one of my friends the thought poped into my head. Is this normal? or am i just some freak that enjoys busting his nuckles?

I gave myself a 4, i figure after my tranny install and the time i stay up till 3 to get my brakes done I deserve it. laugh.gif

I dont change my own oil but i do all my own mods. Just havent gotten around to getting a filter wrench so i take it and have it done. But all the rest of the stuff i do myself.

i have done it all,but paint and body work. my friend lets me use his shop and i pay him what i can. but i do it after office hours. so its cool

I'd have to give myself a 4.5... tranny swaps yes... I have no problems. A full engine swap, no... I have a tendency to be disorganized, which doesn't help me be able to put it back together very well. lol.gif

My first car (that I actually drove) was a 74 Vdub superbeetle with a 2.0 Porsche 914 engine (type 4 for those who know) so I have been doing that sort of work since the very beginning.

I've done work on all my cars..5.0, Z28, BMW 325 and I was even into sound systems once. I love doing my own stuff.

i have done everything in my car.. even the turbo install, but tranny swap i didnĀ“t have the chance to do it.
