I went to L.A. on vacation to visit family. Tony (RANDOM) organized a beach meet with over 50 Hyundais, Spiffywerks picked me up at took me, Blacktibs was pimping a Fairlane while his Tiburon was in the shop, A.J. had his 2003 Alpine Supercharged Tiburon at the meet.

I heard I have been summoned! Yes great memories over the years. Very nice thread. I will try and stop by more however I cannot make any promises.

 

I'm pretty sure my ram style header is from saints car, Gary bought it,rewelded,powdercoated it,I since powdercoated it,still going strong lol..My most memorable moment was waiting over a year for a group buy of turbulance side skirts on RD .

 

I should have awesome memories, but every time I think back, I need to reach for the bottle of Scope.

Summers tib was so bad ass and went through more changes than a bipolar woman with PMS. But it bothered me that her car was strictly for show only. The turbo on it was only turned up to 2 psi and the car saw maybe 10 miles a year. Those miles were mostly from loading it on and off the back of a trailer. And her nitrous tank was 100% empty all the time. The 6 10" subs she had in the hatch was pretty sick though.



I liked Long's tib too but man....every single piece of his interior was painted or done in white. Talk about a clean freak's worst nightmare. He was the only person with the rally front end and he was like 3rd or 4th person to ever install an air ride on his Hyundai, after myself and Guilty did it. I remember when his car was red, before he had painted purple.
