Default What happens when a train throws a piston?

This is Canadian National locomotive number 2699. It is a 212 ton, 6 axle machine powered by a 4400 hp V16 4 stroke Diesel.

The engine & train were passing the town of Independence, Louisiana when she threw a piston.

Looks bigger than that, the ones I am putting in the 944 are 4 1/4 (108mm).

Now, me and the mad scientist got to rip apart the block... and replace the piston rings he fried.

I don't care what anybody says, when your number's up it's time to go. Imagine if a person had been walking by that part of the wall just then. :dead:
