Considering you allready have a CAI, unless you want to upgrade to a name brand one, forget the Injen, too expensive.

$800

Shark Racing (Keep in mind, this is not with the members discount)

First off, some GT Cams, easy to install from what I've been told, and a good power mod. $120

$800 - $120 = $680

Barney BBTB, I don't like the purple myself but this one is bigger than the non barney. $300

$680 - $300 = $360

From Kore, I'd get the FIDANZA Tiburon Aluminum Flywheel. $310

$360 - $310 = $50

HDK, yeah, HDK, get a set of their guage faces on clearance. $24. They may not make you faster, but you'll like em.

$50 - $24 = $26

Corona. On special at the Class 6 for 10 for a 12 pack. Get 2 of them.

$26 - $20 = $6

Limes and a bottle opener.

$6 - $4 = $2

Ehh...

$2

That's the best I can do.

REDZ, good call on the corona ;-D

but as for the flywheel, i'd suggest getting your Intake manifold bored out before getting the flywheel. Otherwise your wasting your money on the GT cam and BBTB.

well first of all do you want N/A mods or speed mods.

Speed Mods.
1.Zex kit (used 350) @350
2.Fuel pump ($100) @450
3.FPR AEM ($200) @650
4.RS CAI ($50) @700
5.XD Cam ($100) @800
that should spend your money wisely for a good chunk of horsepower

Now if you want N/A and good alltime power
1.RS CAI ($50) @50
2.Bored TB ($80) @130 (onpol will do this)
3.Bored IM ($120) @250 (onpol will do this)
4.XD Cam ($100) @350
5.Headers & Custom exhaust (may make budget if you can find cheap headers on ebay, and get cheap aluminium exhaust)

Basically its this. What do you want to do with your car? Show or go? I'm totally N/A right now, and i'm incredibly happy with the performance so far. But if you want to drag, i'd go with the ZEX kit or something. Basically pick a direction you want to go in and look for deals all along the way. Then you can hook up with good prices and make your budget.

good luck.

You've already got a CAI, so I won't touch that one.

Speed Mods.
1.Zex kit (used 350) @350
2.Fuel pump ($100) @450
3.XD Cam ($100) @550
4.Fidanza flywheel($310) @860

Now if you want N/A and good alltime power
1.Bored TB ($80) @80 (onpol will do this)
2.Bored IM ($120) @200 (onpol will do this)
3.XD Cam ($100) @300
4. 4-2-1 Header ($350) @650
5. 2.25 exhaust with 2.25" cat and muffler ($200-$300) @850-950

Damnit Decker, I thought I put the IM in there.

I know that you can get your IM bored at Kore for $150, non members price. Actually, your best bet would be to buy a membership at one of those 2 sites, and buy all the stuff from one place. With the members discount you'd save some cash.

Be able to get 3 12ers of Corona.

As for boring out the stock TB, I personally want to go for the ones MFR'd at a larger size. Why? From what I can remember the stock TB bored max size is 58 MM. The MFR'd ones such as the barney go up to 62MM. Not that much difference, but here we are looking for every cent right? Don't forget to sell off the parts that you replaced too, this will recoup even more. I don't know how large the IM can be bored, but I'm remember OnPol saying he'd bore them the size of your BBTB, barney or otherwise. If you go for the little extra now, it will pay off even more when you go turbo or whatever later. No wasting any time or money.

Is Onpol still doing IM's? I'm just now thinkin that I can get my dad to take off my IM, send it in, and get it done for me while I'm in Korea. Get it powdercoated too. Hmm...

I don't think it's going to give you more power, but it will definatley let your car get to it's top speed faster.

Imagine this, swing a weight around in your arm, try to go as fast as you can. Note it takes a bit to get it there right? Now, swing your arm around without the weight. Fast eh? Same top speed, maybe a bit faster, but you get there faster. The alum flywheels are MUCH lighter. I don't remember the #'s on the stock flywheel, but it's something like 40 pounds I think. The Fidanza is 7.

Big difference on drag right where you don't want it for quickness... The tranny.

I think. Maybe I just need a beer?
