I think it's ok, i've only seen a couple show though, but I sure would pick it over most of the crap out there! I can't get enough of the discovery channel car shows though, monster garage and american hotrod are my favorite. oh and the hot rod build offs are really cool. laugh.gif:

i used to like pimp my ride, then i realized they dont touch the engine... as long as the engine runs they will just throw a huge muffler on and leave the engine shitty. i hate that. the CRX didnt run so they had to put an engine in it but they had to.

I love overhaulin, its mostly for older cars but they do everything. the cars that they make are solid and will last like it was new. i also like rides..

i like the show but not what hey do to the vehicles. They mak the vehicles too ricey and then do nothing for performance wise. Sucks.

I thought about sending my car in for it...if i did that, i would make a list of things for them not to do and leave it in the passenger seat in a neon sheet so they could see it..just an idea.

Yeah that show is more like "Rice my Ride"

I like watching the show and laughing, but WHY do all the cars have to have CHROME wheels??

I dunno, it makes my head hurt, but funny show.

I like American Hotrod the best though, American Chopper comes in a close second.

Yeah, "RICE MY RIDE!!"

they have shown massive amounts of talent...

turning a Ford Escort into a Bimmer. that was a cool LOOKING car

i hate how they do stupid crap... like a clothes dryer? bubbles in the exhaust? the list is probably endless...

and yes, everything is Chrome. and Giovanni (sp?)

its not always chrome but mostly... when its not chrome they usually say, "its not chrome but its still giovoni's...etc"

I hate how they ask the guy what he likes to do in his spare time and he says well i go bowling once a month. and then they base his car on bowling..

I like to watch the show, its cool to see what they come up with.

But remembering they dont touch the engine, it amuses me thinking of them driving down the street with their super-electronic and accessorized car and the engine is a POS.

Also, those people dont deserve a better car, they dont take care of the one they got right now. Like that 240SX one, the guy was like "I love my car and try to spend so much money into fixing it up", but then he doesnt even wash his rims. Especially if theyre going to turn around and sell the car on eBay.

It'd be my dream to get my ride "pimped" on that show. They could take care of everything looks-wise and ICE and leave the beta for me! It'll never happen though...maybe if I moved to California and took a baseball bat to the headlights and jumped on the hood a few times, rip up the interior and fill the back seats with McDonalds/Wendy's leftovers...then I'd have a chance. Oh yeah and duct tape something together on my car...
