well i think changed my mind from the avalanche to the 4 door 4x4 2004 f-150. well give me your opinions!

 

I have never driven one or been in one for that matter. But, they do look nice!

 

yeah, get a real truck, good decision. i always wondered why someone would want leather in a "truck". what made u change your mind?

 

well the price is what 10,000 dollars cheaper for the top of the line leather the whole 9 yards. i think i'll get the FX4 if i get one. hopefully the wife will let me get yellow!

I would go for style with the Avalanche since you can still use it as a truck (can't you?) but if the 4x4 is nice, might as well get that and have the top-of-the-line

Isn't the avalanche the plastic chevy looking thing. If I were you go for the dodge ram hemi its about same price I think with more power.

 

well i've read reviews about the dodge vs chevy vs ford. the new ford had more lowend power then the hemi. the hemi had to be wound up pretty good before it got rolling. but the chevy didn't have very much high end power. oh course the things i'ver read weren't about the avalanche. but if i get the avalanche then the plastic is getting painted.

 

i hate driving trucks if its as big as the new dodge its takes alot of time to get used to i felt so small in that big thing just drive them and see what you think

 

I drive my mom's 4WD Expedition every once in a while and that things is a monster... and feels like a house on wheels the way it drives, just so big... the F150 just looks too tall for my tastes, and the Avalanche has better styling in my opinion, and yeah, get the plastic painted if you get it
