Ok well I was mad at the girlfriend earlier when I was taking her home and decided to rip on the tibby(poor car). Ok I clutch kicked it in first and was driving like a mad man, i know its bad, but when I rammed it in 3rd nothing happend. Neither did anything happen in 4th. You can literally push the shifter up and down in the 3rd and 4th gear locations with the car on and nothing happens. No clicks... no nothing. So now I only have 1st, 2nd, 5th and reverse. lol. I even tried gettin out and messing with the lever on the tranny (not sure what its called). Where the 3rd and 4th gear are supposed to be, nothing happens. Wont click there either. So that rules out a linkage problem. Blah. But the tranny was leaking pretty badly and was low on fluid. Im surprised its held up this long.

Well now is the perfect time to swap in my freshly painted 1.8 tranny that I have with 57k miles on it. laugh.gif And would be good time to break in my 6 puck unsprung ACT disk. This will allow me to rip on the car when I get my turbo'd motor dropped in. No waiting to break the clutch in. Even tho I'll still be easy on the motor once its put in for awhile. Blah. Not unless theres something Im missing here, r.i.p. 3rd and 4th gears.
