I hope everyone out there in the states got out to the polls and voted. Looks like the majority of the citizens expressed their desire for change. Dems won control over the house and history was made now that Nancy Pelosi will be the first woman Speaker of the House in the history of the United States.

In the Senate it looks like Democrats will also win majority now that Montana was called for Tester and in the remaining Senate seat of Virginia it looks like even with a recount it is unlikely that Sen. george Allen will make up the 8000plus vote deficit he has against Jim Webb.

And in related news, the President just announced that Rumsfeld will be resigning for the Secretary of Defense position (nice timing lol). The President said that he has asked former CIA Director Robert Gates to take over the position. From what I have googled, he seems extremely qualified for the job.

here's my plan: i'm gonna move to mexico, become a citizen, then come back up to mass to become an illegal immigrant because then i will have free health care and can get a license... basically thats what it will come down to now that we have Deval Patrick as governer....

he is Pro- immigrant and pro-rapist as well...

Now that the Dems have control over the house it leaves the terrorest a open to attack. When they do we will just fight and blame each other and not the real threat. Its just like vetnam we win hands down on the battlefeid but the population becomes weak and and looses its spine. The terrorest have won because they cause changed in are goverment. I think Spartius is right but I may move to china.

Politics are a waste of time. Like anything, the more you do it the closer you become to 50/50 % so can you consider anyone a winner of anything. There is always going to be this view against that view and it's the people in themiddle that voted one way and since it didn't work out for them they vote the other way the next time that creates the swing. They are all rich legal crooks with no regard inthe American people but rather their falsified self-image in the spotlight of the american people.

So I don't vote. I just do what my Employer tells me, and if I should still be in the service when we decide to overthrow a stagnant democracy I guess I'll do what I'm told then too. Especially when we get attacked due to Democratic desire to cut Homeland Security funding and give it to people who settle for minimum wage jobs and feel they should get paid more.

state has already been down, and will keep going down farther. i don't know much about politics (pandy hehe) but i do know that the U.S. has been and is getting worse. it's also got a little mix of communism. that whole no child left behind policy won't change a thing and it's not the worst of our problems. crime rates are high and states could have really used that war money.

the thing about the war is, i really don't know if it was worth that much effort and that many lives to try and change something that can and will never be changed.

it's not difficult to say, i know democrats are going to win the election in 2008.

Now its going to be like a kid kicking a hornets nest and then throwing away all the fly swatters and hornet spray. Now that we have pissed off the terrorists, they are going to want to retaliate... and if the Democrats take over, we will just let them waltz in and do what they please... Oh wait!! I forgot we will sanction them to death!! HA HA I forgot about that tactic.... you know the one, that has never stopped anyone in HISTORY from doing anything... but hey, what do I know, I'm just a military grunt.

Haha, I love all you people who have said "Oh noes, Democrats are in office, the terrorists win!" You guys should become speech-writers for our great, powerful, and infallible leader (like the pope, he is infallible, it is the word of God). While I do agree that the Dems are mostly a bunch of douchebags, so are the Republicans (with exceptions on both sides, namely McCain and Obama). I'm not sure if all you Democrat haters have noticed, but the current Republican administration has done nothing but screw up everything since the moment they got into office.

I don't mean to come across as a Republican-hater, because I believe that everyone has a right to their opinion , but please, at least come up with a rational opinion that is based on facts and not RNC/DNC commercials or stereotypes about political parties.
