You know what sucks for all the Washington Tuners....Christine Gregoire!

She (the gov-na') just signed a bill that will make Washington Emissions Laws the same as California's if not stricter and it will be phased in within two years. That B**ch!

Oh well, I'll be leaving the state by then but it sucks for the next generation. California, you're not alone anymore.

Meh, I guess Gregoire's alright...she IS fixing all those bridges that are about to fall apart into Lake Washington and widening some highways, and at the everyday low price of 7 billion dollars!

I'm not familiar w/ your laws, what can we expect?

I know one advantage is California's exhaust levels are 95dBa and Washington's currently is 90dBa but it probably won't go up 5 decibals. Even if it did mine is like 105 or something. I wonder what it is at WOT?

Hey, if your base emissions are the same as CALI, that's not so bad. If they enforce the "carb approved" aftermarket mods on you guys... that's gonna suck big time.

New Jersey does the "Base emissions" thing.. but they do not do the visual check. Just an orbII and a safety.

MA laws are also quite strict when it comes to Emissions.

i think the reason why Washington is gonna be the new Cali is because California will break away and be in the ocean pretty soon. (see: San Andreas Fault) tongue.gif lol

Actually Spart.. if you read up on it.. California is moving north.. so in time it will be annexing Washington.
