Yeah, nothing like a flying gun platform eh?man thats the coolest stuff in the world sniper in the sky.
AC130 Gunship.
Specifications
Span -- 132 ft. 7 in.
Length -- 96 ft 10 in.
Weight -- 124,200 lbs. max.
Engines -- 4 Allison T-56-A-9D @ 3,750 SHP.
Max Speed -- 380 mph.
Range -- 2,500 miles
Armament -- (2) 7.62mm mini-guns,(2) 20mm and (2) 40mm canon later versions had 105mm canon at rear.
That's right folks, a 105 Millimeter Howitzer in the rear. Guyz, that's the same size as most tank cannons in the world.
Also, keep in mind that the US Army and Marines use SP (Self Propelled) and towed (Towed behind Humvees or 5-Ton trucks that fire 105MM and 155MM (That's what my unit shoots) rounds. 155MM rounds weigh about 110 pounds apiece and can be fired to distances about 18 to 36 klicks (Kilometers) away.
The AC-130 Gunship is one of the baddest assed machines ever made.
Thank god it's on our side eh?
EDIT: I almost forgot, this thing has SO much weapontry on it, that when they fire, it pushes the plane sideways. Pilots are constantly having to adjust their planes because of this. Navy battleships do the same thing.

My dad tells some great stories of the C-130 Spooky (predecessor of the Spectre) in Vietnam. He said when all those guns open up at once, it's the most awesome, powerful, and scary sound you've every heard. Like the devil himself is screaming at the enemy.
