Alright for those of you who didnt read the near book i wrote on the scam pulled on me courtesy of TrueCredit and Great fun heres the link
http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=25276&hl=
And for the lazy; here's the skinny:
Signed up for truecredit, cancelled within trial period (same day), got 90 dollars in charges without my permission, fought to get money back.
Well i didnt feel right letting them get off with just refunding me, so i called a local news station and they actually had the same thing happen to their studio producer, same companies and everything lol.
So they came out and did a story about it, it was pretty neat, they did the interview monday, it aired on the news today.
Heres the story.

oh ok, i see it now.
For anyone who doesnt read through the whole thread i wrote, make sure if you want your credit report you use annualcreditreport.com, its mandated to be free once a year (whenever you want it) by the government and its provided by all three. The rest of them might try and trick you into thinking its free, but you'll just end up in the same spot as i was lol.

I disagree Alex ^ ^
That website will NOT show you your credit SCORE, they will just show you the information on the report, which is all they're required by law to provide for free. They'll charge you to see what your SCORE is, which to me, is very important.
I have used http://www.FreeCreditReport.com a few times with no problems AT ALL. I've paid the $12.99/mo. fee to keep watch over the account, I've also cancelled after the first month with no extra charges. I really had a good experience, AND the 30-day trial DOES show you your SCORE for Experian.
