I've been looking for some time now for an mp3 player, but with so many to chose from I don't know. I've been looking lately at the iPod Video and the Creative Zen Vision:M. Which one would you guys recommend?

Does the Creative have a shuffle option?

I kinda like more the Creative one fing02.gif

Ipods suck ass. I got a 30Gig Video one for free last year, when I lost it, I really didn't care much. The zune, awesome device. I'd say stick with a MP3 playing phone for now, and wait for the Zune 2.

Not a big fan of any MP3 really.. I have an IPOD, used many Zunes, and used a Zen. I don't like any frankly... lol

The Zen I used was tiny, but not enough features or useful things for me.
The IPOD is too pushy with the whole hiding files on your IPOD thing, and the IPOD commercials are dumb.
The Zune is great, you can xfer music and everything... Buuuutt... You only get to keep songs for like 2 weeks, then you either buy it or lose it.

Up to you man, but like redz sais, go for an MP3 phone.

Yeah, I love my T-Mobile Dash. 2Gig SD card, it's plenty of music.

I've had an ipod video and a 1st gen shuffle for over a year now. I HATE ITUNES. The player is fine, but itunes sucks. I've tried eph-pod, and anapod explorer, and they suck nearly as much. overall, I love the ipod, hate itunes.

We sell Zunes at work, and the screen and player is great. They're bigger than the ipod by about 2x (thickness), but people I know who have it say battery life sucks.

I have no experience with the ZENs.

I end up using my samsung phone with external memory card for an mp3 player. video player too. AND, I always have my phone on my anyway, so there's no need to carry an additional piece of electronics... just a 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack adapter.

I have a 30GB iPod Video and love it. I don't have any issues with iTunes. It has done everything I need it to. Likely only a problem if you are trying to pirate music.

You need to think about how much storage capacity you want/need. There's no point in paying for 30GB if you are only going to use 2GB. I could not survive with 2GB. I would waste all my time moving songs back and forth. I have over 20GB (approx. 5400 songs) on my iPod already.

Bottom line: iPod is the leader in the industry and I think for good reason. They are even reasonably priced when comparing all features.
