But back to the topic.... If I didn't drive so much I would definatly have a beater car for the winter and such. So if you dont have any sorta long drive to work or anything then deffinatly go for it man!

I do the same thing, but believe it or not my Tib is my sh!t car. I like to keep my cars looking mint, even my Tib, so I always try to avoid places and situations that will muck up my car. Snow really isn't an issue here, the only time I see it is on Mt. Hood or St. Helens on my way home from work.

I think it would be a good idea for you to get an extra vehicle... I'd love to have another vehicle, just so i wouldn't put 80 -100 miles a day on it.

and I live a little closer to WV than bel aire....but Ultra is right and its not just snow the mountians sheild us from.....alot of T-storms die out before getting on the eastern side of the blue ridge.

 

i got a pos truck for winter and when cars is down and it gets me by (i got an 84 EFI Toyota so it will last for ever)
