The Republicans will not, because Trump has the deep pockets required to make sure everyone knows Hillary is an evil person who should never get out of prison.
If the Republicans fall apart this cycle, the Libertarians may well pick up the conservatives who fall out of the Republican party, but they would dilute it and the whinging from the Libertarians would be truly, deeply obnoxious. It is also possible a legitimate 3rd party would rise from the ashes of the GOP...and it's also possible that with Trump at its head, the GOP would change so drastically that you won't recognize it next time.
My fake internet money is on President Trump 2016, possibly with Vice President Cruz. IMO Cruz would make a *very* good VP.
