Traveling For The Holidays?

I thought maybe this would be a good idea for a thread.
Im traveling to NY from FL this holiday, kinda backwards i know but I have 3 weeks off and everybody else only has like a week off so this makes more sense, plus i kinda miss the snow (snowboarding will be fun).
It'll be nice to visit NY from FL instead of visiting FL from NY.
So anyway... Ill start.

To/from where?
To my hometown in CNY, from the Tampa bay area
For how long?
Most likely a week and a half
How far?
1312.48 miles
How are you getting there?
By car (2000 Accent to be specific)
With whom?
Just me.
And it'll actually take me 2.5 days because I'm stopping at friends house's on the way, (one in northern Florida & one in SC), partly to make the trip easier to bear and partly because i haven't seen each of them in months...

from my home (Princeton, Minnes.), to everywhere!!! i'll explain:
thurs: x-mas shoppin, i'm goin to color mine and fetish's hair, get my nails done at salon
fri: go to a wedding, my bf's the best man there.
sat: visit my dad in jail, then go to welcome-back party for our friend that just got back from army training
sun: hopefully head out to wisc. and see my aunts i havent seen for 3 years
mon: if we didn't leave for wisc on sunday, hopefully then we will (trying to convince my bf to go with)
tues: head on home if we happened to stay the night at my aunt's

the shopping is neighboring town, nail and wedding in princeton
daddy's jail is 45 miles away, w/b party is 12 miles
then wisconsin trip is about 2-3 hour drive from home

drivin my baby, my beautiful tropical tibby baby tongue.gif well it's got good mpg on it, you can't deny that!

Yah, she was supposed to ride up with me and i was going to drop her off in jersey, so she could visit family, then i would continue on to Syracuse.
This would save a lot of money, instead of $250 for a plane ticket for me and 100 for a one way for her (riding back with her father), it would be a hundred or so for gas.
But then her Father went ahead and bought her a plane ticket "on his own" so now i have to make the drive by myself LOL.
but whatever, now i can hang out with my friends on the way up, who i never see anymore, no biggie.
