So far the estimate is only 1000 however the insurance company onlyapproved to re-upholstery the seat. They wouldn't pay to replace the seat. They emailed me the estimate right before the close of business today. There was nothing on the estimate about the scratches in the clear coat on my door. I will follow up with that tomorrow. This estimate does not include any electrical work. Anything with the security system, battery and alternator will be taken care of by the dealership when I get the car fixed.

If you can push that dealer repairs and a seat recovering will not return the car to it's original condition (because it won't), you might be able to push for a replacement car, or to write off the current one if replacing everything costs enough. Some insurers here advertise such a service. Getting them to actually do it, on the other hand...
