Well, for the first time since I got married, I'm dissapointed.
Not in my wife mind you.
Not even in the dog `Que.
My in laws. :?
When the wife left Kansas to come be with me in Korea, we left the Tibby with my folks in Belen and the 93 Excel in Kansas with her folks.
My father in law in Kansas put Fuel Stabilizer in the tank and Mothballs in a box inside (Don't ask, I don't know).
Up until last night, I was under the impression he'd been starting it every week and maybe rolling it around a bit.
He hasn't. When I return it'll be 14 months that the car hasn't been run or anything.
I've asked him to please go try to start it or take a look at it so's I can start getting the things I may need for it to run again. After someone comes and MOWS THE YARD SO THEY CAN FIND THE CAR, he will probably do it. evil.gif :x :!:
What do I do? What should I plan on getting for the poor thing? What fluids need to be flushed and how do I do them?
I don't wanna lose my old Excel. It'll be my step-sons first car in 6 years. lol.gif wink.gif

you will definatly need new tyres.. they are probably dry rotted and flat spotted by now. The gas has probably gone stale, and the oil and fluids are probably not contaiminated.. but everything in them has settled to the bottom.. so flush them as quickly as you can.
Also, a car sitting in grass will rust. The morning dew will stick to the bottom of the car and it will take several (if ever ) hours to dry out compleatly.
