WHOO-HOO! I took 1st place in Overall Best Import, and 1st Place in 2000+ Wild class yesterday. The overall Best Import trophy is 5 foot tall. I had to stick it out my window driving home.
But here's teh best part part about the show. When I pulled in yesterday morning, not only was I the only Hyundai there, but I counted 8 Honda's and 3 Mitsu's. Almost all of them looked the same...no major difference between them except for color, and other small things. Most of them were mad cool, but there were 2 Honda owners that literally came up to me and asked my I bothered to show my HYUNDAI??? Well, let me tell you..they weren't saying too much when I pulled out of there with 2 of the best trophies you could win. *ha ha*
So today, there was a big barbecue for all the winners of yesterday's show. It was at a local park. It was really cool having all the big muscle and classic car owners come up to me and give me props for my car. Anyway, I now have this giant trophy sitting in my living room, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. The other trophy is just a small 2 foot one, so that's going on my mantle. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Sylver....thanx.
As far as those Honda owners go, hopefully they learned their lessons and they won't be too judgmental towards people who do not own Honda's. rolleyes.gif

LMAO dude!
Major congrats on winning.
Even bigger congrats on shutting those Honduh owners up. What fawking morons! Well I guess now they see the errors of their ways.
I still have problems figuring out why people would want to try to make a Sh!tvic look unique
They have become the "Mustank" of the import world.
Oh well, congats again.

Thanx everyone!
The car is really starting to take shape now. Last night I couldn't sleep too well so I went into my garage and started my "Phase 2" mods. I shaped and formed the sheetmetal for my front turn signals. So now all I have to do is take out the signals, tap weld in the sheet metal plates, sand down, prime, paint, and presto!!! Shaved turn signals!
But for safety sake, I'm just gonna convert the small square driving lights down underneath the headlights into my turn signals. Just have to buy new relays and brighter bulbs, and I'm all set.
Probably gonna do that and shave my door handles this weekend.
