Default Today I got the shaft

Well...... for the last 4 1/2 years I bust my butt to work my way up the latter. I started as a welder and under 2 years I worked my way up too Second shift foreman. And after all my hard work I got the shaft today. They say that the company is going through hard times. Why? becausethey are almsot giving the product away. 6 months ago the cost of steel went up 75% and the price for a disesl tank didn't go up. So after 6 months of loosing their ass the idea to let me go along with 9 others to make up for thier F-up.

Dude that sucks!! My company did some lay off at the beginning of the year. I knew a couple of good guys that got shafted. Are they going to at least have a severance package for you?
