church bonds, what the heck are those?

To make things very simple, a church bond is when a church issues bonds to cover their building projects. They pay out pretty good (depending) and are less volitile then stocks.

Sounds about the same? It's uglier than sin for one.

As for two, same engine?

Are you a friggin moron?

Your car, from your previous posts. 5.7l LS1 = 305 HP.

The Z06 Vette = LS7 7.0L, 505 WHP.

http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette/#corvette-z06

Vettes have always been, and always be, my favorite car, and one of the hottest cars ever. It's allready been voted, the Z06 that is, one of the top 10 sports cars of all time.
Uhm, I'm sure he meant the NEW vette, the Z06 is just a certain type with the big ass motor.

The 06 Vette IS avaialble with a convertabile top.

Be more specific next time because there are only like 1000 new Z06s on the road and only 10 of them are modded, so I made an assumption that you are talking about the older z06, which is the same 5.7l engine with different heads and a camshaft...

and LS7 is 505HP at the flywheel, not 505WHP... tongue.gif

And he clearly stated that he wants

Unfortunatly, I am probably the only person here who has actually driven a Ferrari. While you can compare looks and numbers all day long and get no where.. there is a feeling that all Ferrari's have. It is a combination of road, engine, and transmission noise combined with the light on it's feet feeling and the fact that the car constantly communicates with the driver. You run over a small rock in the road, you can feel the car react to it, but not in a way that distracts the driver into making a correction.

It is VERY hard to put to words.. but in driving a Ferrari, it is VERY easy for the driver and car to become one.

My favorite Ferrari.. is also the cheapest.. the Dino 206 and 246.. which were never badged as a Ferrari in the first place.

No, I don't need to be more specific.

That's like me saying, OP, be less of an asshole.

Just doesn't work.

I could care less if there are 1000 of them on the road or eleventy billion. I am right, and you are wrong. I've seen more than 10 modded here in ABQ alone, so wrong again.

Still, the "Same Engine" would be an LS1. It's not a LS1, it's a LS2. Like the differences with the Beta 1 and Beta 2.5, it's similar, but not the "SAME ENGINE".

Wow. I made a typo. I was still more right than you.

The rest of us knew what he was talking about.

Look, I just started rereading this thread, and it's gotten out of hand.

This is about Tib vs Ferrari.

Keep it to that. No further discussion past what you would trade in your tib for, or wouldn't.

I was lucky enough to drive a red F355 Berlinetta when I was 17. It belonged to an ex's dad. He also owned an NSX, a Rolls & a couple of other cars... They were pretty loaded.

Anyway, I won't lie & say that I was able to thrash it as I was only able to drive it around congested city streets for not even 30 minutes, with my ex's dad as a passenger.

I was king for a day though fing02.gif

well, that is cool. I am not alone now in having driven a car with the Prancing horse emblem. Even from your short drive though, did you feel the "Ferrari magic"?

I actually had to give up my tib for two years due to circumstances beyond my control. Through good fortune I was able to get it back (although it had been dismantled and had the engine blown). Ever since then I have commited to never loosing my shark again. I've had many cars (supra turbo, trans am, dodge charger) but the tib was always my favorite. I would never give him up for any reason, especially for a highly volitle Italian sports gernade.

It was definitely an experience to remember.... Beautiful car. Plentiful power. Intoxicating noise (even at relatively low revs). hail.gif Ferrari.

To be honest though, I drove it like a bit of a girl as the whole thing was kinda overwhelming for me; bear in mind that I'd only just gotten my license 6 months prior, I was dating this guy's daughter & I was driving his exotic Italian car... One small slip up & he would've had all the reasons in the world to have me off'd.

If I had cash to burn I don't see any reason why I wouldn't buy a 'rari fing02.gif

First of all for my money, I would buy a Tiburon. Why? I've talked with 2 Ferrari owners at the Ferrari VS Corvette vs Viper Day at Gingerbread speedway in Grand Haven, Michigan. Ferraris are unreliable, they are not meant to be driven everyday like Porsche's and Corvettes. Even the littlest unimportant part of car, expect to pay $$$$. Oil change? like $300 or more. Brake Service? I don't even want to tell you how much that is. My friends uncle has a 1990 Ferrari Mondial convertible..( i think thats what it is) it only has 15,000 miles and it had so many repairs. recently his Coolant tubing exploded,, resulting in taking out the engine and fixing it.. thats pathetic.

I love my tiburon. put alot of miles on it. go to alot of roadtrips... its easy on gas, looks cool. and fun to drive.
