SEARS got in caught just like that by the news not to long ago. DITTO to the why you do your own work I've done everything from replaceing the Trans, to tie rods,etc,etc.etc.....

ive done everthing from rebuild my motors to the trans. the only thing i dont do is tire mounting, alignments, and bodywork. but thats just because i dont have the proper tools to do so correctly.

I use a mechanic thats my Uncles Best friend. I know he doesn't stiff me becuase to change a timing belt, install underdrive pulley set, new belts, transmission fluid flush, and new water pump and install for $630. Includes labor. He is a fanstatic mechanic and its hard to find many that 1 are trust worthy and 2 dont price you up the arse.
