Worst thing I noticed is the freakin low beams suck. I almost hit 2 raccoons today cause another car was comming and I had to turn my high beams off. Geeze they suck, cant see further than like 15-20 feet.

 

Kinda on topic, but not.. Is there a chime/bell for when you leave your lights on when your car is turned off? If not, that pisses me off because Ive drained my battery twice this past year ;/

If they do, hrmmm time to fix it ;/

-Low beams are horrible
-lots of vibration (e.g. rear view mirror, can be fixed with a small piece of dynamat)
-I've always had a problem with the alternator and powersteering belts on the car, they are always squealing just a little, and I can never get them to stop nomatter what the tension.
-hydraulic lifter noise
-Dash fitment, after you've pulled that thing apart a couple of times, the piece never seem to line up the same and leaves gaps, nothing like the bmw's and benz's I work on at work.
-Blower motor makes a horrible noise on 3 and gets worse on 4
-The white paint has become horribly stained
-X-tra large steering wheel
-And specific to my car only, The entire interior smells of transmission fluid, a bottle opened up in my trunk and soaked the carpet and spilled down into my spare tire well, this stuff REAKS!!!!

 

The low beams do suck..On the postive side, the Tib has 100,000 powertrain warranty, road side assistance, you'll get over 30mpg on the highway, handles good, and is a good looking car.

 

Yah, I'm not saying I don't like my car, I love it, every car has it's quirks though.

 

my list was the best and most complete, btw about the headlights, u gotta align them, its true the original setting SUCKS major, but if u jiggle the adjustment on them a little YOUL GET THE BEST DAMN LIGHTING EVER, ive never seen better lighting then on my Tib, well, i do have real Xenon bright blueish ultrawhite bulbs, the HID ish type, and those help alot also, and when i put on the high beams, god darn it feels like i light up the place the power of the sun seriusly.

so why does it seem like everyones tib has cracked door handles?
the blower does get pretty loud at 3 and 4 but thats expectable with the amount of air that goes through the vents at that speed

 

I don't really have any gripes with the car besides that blasted trunk never closing. I get too many women around it now anyway. They love the Tibby more than the GSX. Maybe because its quiet? I don't know... maybe the sound of an external wastegate screeching and 0-60 in a couple of seconds doesn't make them as horney as it does me. smile.gif

 

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the thing about the passenger side headlight bulb going out often..lol
