Anybody who thinks we are the only planet with living, breathing life forms in this universe, needs to be slapped in the head.

Nope. We're alone. Bible says so.

 

It's very likely that there's other intelligent out there.

However just for the sake of taking both sides of the argument, you've posted no evidence of life. Just the vastness of space. Need I remind you how difficult it is for a plant to support life?



The spin it this way, who's to say that just because there's life out there that it has to have structured human-esque (or otherwise) intelligence? This planet existed for billions of years without human presence.

Bible doesn't say so. The arguments from silence are on both sides of this question. Aliens from outer space are not incompatible with Christianity or a literal reading of the Bible, any more than are bicycles.
