People signing petitions is not going to override the general concensus of what the outcome of the Civil War meant. It will take ages of electing secessionist politicians. Or a couple years of a horrible obama economy. We'll see.

How many people signed the petition in texas again? Wasn't it like 50 thousand signatures? I've seen burnout videos with more views.







I really just don't see how it would be practical, or actually beneficial in real life. Can you imagine the sheer quantity of administration and bereaucracy that would have to take place to start an entirely new country - from one that already exists? Bah.

100k in Texas alone. Still not going to get jack accomplished. I doubt it even gets a serious response from the .gov.
