Good stuff! But if I were the bicyclist, I wouldn't have been using the lane on the bridge. I would have walked my bike over the bridge at the very least.

Having the right of way only goes so far vs. something that has a ton of mass over your 200lbs. Ride like you're invisible anytime you're only over two wheels!

Once, I saw a guy crossing a bridge on the yard-wide shoulder

on a 65MPH section of highway

in the SNOW

on a

unicyle.

Let me preface this by saying I've been a bicyclist for many years, and have ridden thousands of miles. The first bunch of miles started when I was too young to ride and rode on a car/bike seat on the back of my dad's bike.

Why is this biker riding on the bridge?? Especially when there's a pedestrian bridge right next to it?? A little common sense (aka horse sense) tells me to take the side bridge.

Yes yes, the hit and run kid also needs to be brought to justice, but the idiot on the bike needs to learn a little common sense, no matter what the laws may say.

Bicyclists here have no common sense, but have a strong sense of entitlement. It's normal to see them basically blocking car traffic so that they can pedal along in the middle of the lanes.

In Texas they have the same right of way to use the streets as cars. Not that it is a good idea but it is legit for them to pedal down the middle of the lanes.

^^^ In most places they do, and I assume that's the case in the video too. Just saying that doing it on a 2 lane bridge is pretty VERRRY stupid.
