So my buddy has a 2003 Ford Escort ZX2. He's pretty forum illiterate so I'm searching for him to find an intake and other things, and I come to find www.teamzx2.com They seem like the most well established forum for the car, but man, I thought tibs had bad aftermarket support... The sites for this car are all terribly laid out, and they don't have any good advice. I've found one good post that compared every intake for a ZX2, and i think like 2 or 3 of them were variations of the stock intakes with reso's taken off, and different filters... lmao If anyone can help me find a "HotShot" intake for a 2003 Ford escort ZX2 automatic, i will love you forever!!

hmmm i used to own a ZX2 but it was a 00, also auto. The intake i baught for it though was a short ram Weapon R Secret Weapon. It gave it a little of performance but not really.

I also used to frequent teamzx2. I ended up selling my car since it was so slow and an auto...

Another friend of mine has a 98 zx2, atx, and he had the weapon r, but he took it off. He was getting a CEL from it... I'm trying to help Joel though, the one with the 2003, he wants a tuner car, but doesn;t know how to do anything himself... lol. I feel bad for him and want to teach him, but its hard when you can catch onto things easily, and you can figure things out yourself, and you have to baby someone into doing it, you know? I don't mind showing him at all, I just wish he was a little more into trying things himself first and if he needs help then ask me, not just asking me in the beginning, and now i have 2 cars to tune myself, and only one is mine.

There's a guy now interested in buying my stock tibby spoiler. What kind of price should I put on it guys?

you can swap a mazda KLZE into a zx2. they actually use the protege/mx3/escort chasis from the early 90's.
