Taking it to the track
I posted this at the Hyundai Performance site.. but nobody commented..
Everyone (and that includes me) always says to take it to the track. Here is some in car footage from some friends of mine. The blue car is a 70 B series 124 coupe and yellow car (with the onboard camera) is a 71 B series 124 coupe. I think the footage was on it's fourth or fifth generation before it was put on the web.
Doesn't this look like fun though?

These three are short.. This is an old Fiat Brava (131) done up in Abarth bodywork.. playing catch up on what appears to be a quick RX4

The 124 coupes are street driven.. 1.6 litre twin cam (8 valve) engines.. I think they put out about 140hp The Brava is a real race car (GT class I think) and puts out a lot more hp from a high output 2.0. It is definatly, As the owner, Joe Clemente, puts it.. "A datsun 510"
I just thought these looked like fun and wanted to share what track time can look like.

I see nobody likes cars other than Hyundai's. I realise that they are fiats, but I just wanted to show people that there are other venues than the quarter mile... personally, open track day looks a LOT more fun than drag racing.

Not true, I like Kias too.

But in reality, if you had a Vette or something in there, I'd watch it.
I'm not into the Drag Racing thing like everyone else is, I'm into modifying my car for me. To be happy. I don't mind showing off, and I definately don't mind going fast. Road racing (On real road style tracks or abandoned roads, not public roads) is what I like. I like curves, I like hills, small swoops and draws.
Damn, I'm getting hard just thinkin bout it.
