how the hell do i use these things?



so far, ive just been clamping it on one wire, and then clamping another wire in the same little groove. i dont think thats the right way though. :?

You clamp the wire you want to tap into, with that.
Then the wire you want to connect you need a male spade / crimp connector.

Looks like this:


Then you plug it into the tap at the female end.

something like this on the wire i want to connect?



do i stick it through the little slot in the back? it looks that if i did this, it wouldnt touch the metal peice in the tap though.
