then i was way off. haha.

i'm still for Nexuz's design anyways. no offense to alz99's, and would buy if it were to go on a shirt, but if i had to choose between one, i'd go w/ nexuz's.

I don't think I'm tallented enough to do the actual design, but here's my cheesy idea. How about for a saying, something to the tune of: RDtiburon.com The original shark Runs Deep
I thought that would be kind of cool to keep with the RD theme. You could stager it so the R and the D kind of line up and stuff.

I really like the design so far. My only other thought is to kind of beef up the rear wheels a bit. They look kind of small. I love it, though, I'm gettin one!

Ok this is an edit. I just wrote it quickly in Power Point and for some reason when I changed it to a JPG it didnt' line up right, but this was kind of the idea for the logo. It could just be lined up instead of steped too. Just thougt I'd give a quick idea oops.gif

I guess I need to delete the post since no one understood what I was saying. I said 30 because the one image had at least nine different colors. Unless you buy in a large quantity the price is going to be high. As long as we can get the shirts down to three or four colors they should run no more than 15-18. I do not run a shirt making business though, so that is my estimate.

My design's a 4 col cymk process print (I work as a inhouse graphic designer for a t-shirt manufacturer LOL)
or it could be done as a 5 col pms spot colour print.

Sorry for double post'n .
i just had a little time on my hands the last week so i did what i do. laugh.gif

I like the idea of 2 shirts.. but how about a long sleeve for the other one. (remeber some of us live where it is cold) We may not be able to drive the RDs' in the winter.. but we can still sport the threads for it. (think about the West Coast Choppers style of long sleeve)..

I like alz99's design as well, and would hate to see it go to waste for all the work that was put into it.

i like andyengineer's slogan idea...with the "original shark runs deep." it's pretty nifty. don't get me wrong, i love "you drive a honda, how original," but i'd rather not get my ass kicked by a bunch of punk guys who think they're hot stuff wink1.gif and hey, it gives a meaning to the whole RD thing cause i'm sure most people would be like "WTF is rd????"

I really overshot with the guess on the price. I am not a graphic artist, nor do I run a tshirt shop. I talked to the guy that is and he said they will be nowhere near the price I said. I do like the two shirt idea. I will have to ask him about that. Als99, how much can you get them done for?

Lol, ok. I was just looking for something in the mean time. I think they would look great screen printed, but if we don't get a large enough quantity they are gonna run close to $30 each.

He said they would be alot less. He still hasn't given me an exact price though.

Well, give us a freaking clue Java.

LOL

I'll take one of each, but I don't really like the "runs deep" slogan. Keep the one we've got on the design allready or let's vote for one out of a selection of quotes.

1. "Wow, you drive a Honda? How original..."

2. "Here's a spork, eat my ass."

3. "Wow, you've got that N20 into the Valve cover system eh?"

4. "Woah, I bet that Civic goes fast enough to blow the intake manifold welds"

You know, stuff like that.

Heh heh...
