Ok the story.
I was headed west, pulling up to a light in the center lane to turn left (fourth car back) when a car came out of a parking lot crossed 3 lanes of traffic and runs into the side of my Tib.
I forced him to back his car back into the parking lot where I blocked his car in and he gets out of his car and runs on foot west crossing Hwy 99 through moving traffic, It took me 120+ yards to catch him, when I bring him back to the crash. The police are there and they do nothing. He has No insurance and two warrants that they recommend he take care of and leave. (Fail to pay family support)
Is that not hit and run?
It’s another wonderful day

WTF if the cops do nothing i would take that shit into my own hands! where the hell would he have been going in that direction other then into u
good job chasing him down, i bet it felt good to tackle his ass tongue.gif
as for repairs, i would looks for another door from a junkyard cheap. then see what u can do about that rear quarter panel, it can probably be fixed, maybe without needing paint

^^^The rear quarter will take more than just popping out the dent it will need bodywork, and my insurance should cover it, thats what full coverage is for. I love this car, it has to get fixed right.

if he has no insurance and and probably no job the judge will more than likely make him pay restitution of a prescribed amount of months.
It was done to me a few years back and the most i saw was 50 a month over a year to pay the damages done on my vehicle.
it sucks man i know. the worst thing about mine is everytime I see the little prick that hit me he calls the cops to say i am harrassing him....loser.

I still cannot believe someone could just drive out into traffic and not even look where they are going. How do you miss seeing a BRIGHT RED car? Sometimes I almost wish she was day-glow yellow.
The cost of repairs range from 2,300 to 2,700
