lol back when i worked at the shop id have aftermarket warranty companies say "whats our discount?" id reply with "why should you get one?" i had one say they were gonna buy the parts and mail it to me. i said our posted labor rate for "bring your own steak to the restaurant" work is $40 more per hour.
they'd refuse and id say fine, call your customer and tell them they have to tow this car out of my shop by the end of the evening because you want to cut me out of $50 of profit.
nissan warranty was HORRIBLE though, they would purposely find ANY reason to charge back claims to the shop.
no signature before service? charge back
no punch in/punch out? charge back
no signature after? charge back
then they wonder why we find "loopholes"
