Someone I know just cut the ligament in there. She was drunk and fell and sliced it with a broken wine glass. Ouch!! 3 weeks in a splint and some physical therapy. WTF happened?!

Well I fell to be honest, then I went 2 weeks being nice to my thumb
but the swelling wouldnt go away so I could bend my thumb and move it.
So I went to the ER finally and they did x-rays and the nurse saw them and she asked
me, "your not in pain?" I said no not unless u pull my thumb the wrong way
or hit it on the inside next to my first finger and she was like wow girl I dont know how
you can handle what has happend, so apparenly its pretty bad and I shouldnt have
waited 2 weeks, OPS!!!
So now they have to fix the ligament and put the bone back in place,
I will be in a cast for 6weeks after surgery the phyiscal theraphy for 2-3 weeks.

thumbsup1.gif my hand will look like this thumbs up guy for 6 weeks
