the noob here, some of you guys know me from one of the other sites. just want to figure out whos who and get friendly (not in that way sicko). got a few guides i'd like to write along the way, was workin on a clutch guide for the LC2/1.6L that i did without removing the trans....thinking of moving that over here. may do a transmission one and even some simpler ones too for the noobs. gotta start somewhere.

and my baby blue LC2 is a total piece of crap. why the hell does the thing keep blowing clutch bearings?!?!? its a real love hate relationship for me.

Zero, welcome to HA.org, you will enjoy your stay here much more then over there at HP.com. Plus idiots like G4 get banned with a quickness. Glad you made it over, this is DreRob btw.

If it keeps eating a bearing you may have an issue somewhere else. I have never really hard of the TOB being that big of a problem on them. Are you using a valeo/OEM or another manufacturer?

thanx for the warm welcome guys.

i was more commenting on the fact that the clutch bearings seem to be a known issue....replaced one and it started making noise 6 months later. waited a year, then the bastard wrecked my pressure plate! so new clutch. that was chirping a little, replaced the clutch cylinder no luck.

THEN i blew the transmission to hell. after the new one seemed to disappear....now i might have a SLIGHT tick or chirp from it only while applying power, not sure yet could be the brake dust shield rubbing on the rotor. i have to hang my head out the window and be next to a curb to hear it and even then its a little hard. meh i'll figure it out, just getting really damn sick of pulling this transmission off.
