Default Summer is almost over

In the North East, once Sept 1st hits, it's almost like a switch that Mother Nature flips. Starts getting colder, less daylight, leaves start to change, and everything becomes Pumpkin this and Pumpkin that. Only a couple more months and then it will be time for me to put the car away for the year. Time goes way too fast!

Ugh. I am on a lease until May, I can't even hope to move south for the winter this year.

Summer never ends here. And therefore, neither does racing, boating, etc.

Not in Vegas. Summer ends in late October. Autumn lasts 2 weeks then Winter starts.

Winter is typically nothing here. But last year we barely saw any winter at all and it's been a mild summer.

I fully expect to dine almost exclusively on crow in a short number of months.
