Healthcare is definately the way to go man i got 30 job offers in the first week of looking in the radiology field. You will have places fighting over you trust me its worth going back to school for. Never have to worry about looking for a job the rest of your life.

I would have said the same thing a few years ago about the computer industry but right now I'm just glad I have a job. Don't pick a job just because you think it will be around forever. You've got to do something you like otherwise you'll be miserable eventually.

To survive you must continually evolve. Always learn new skills. Stagnate water will eventually evaporate.

Or, learn something obscure but useful to, like, fifteen or twenty companies...like FORTRAN. Hire on as the only guru one of the companies has on that product line. Do your job, but don't do it perfectly. Always leave something more to be done. Eternal job security!

Seriously, I know it sounds bad, but temp'ing is the way to go. You don't have to find your own job, you just show up and interview... you get paid well (in the right agency), and you can leave whenever you want, or complain enough that they get you a new job. I just got some entry-level dumba$$ right out of school $23/hr in a HUGE pharmaceutical company. I place complete idiots who make 3 times more than me...
