Default Stock 2001 Goes to TRACK!!

Well Guys, (gals) I went to the track tonight for the first time in my Tib, and to be honest, I was kinda dissapointed.. sad.gif But, it happens.. I got 3 runs, and they are as follows...

1ST RUN
--------

R/T .835
60' 2.452
330 7.065
1/8 10.827
MPH 65.46
1000 14.059
1/4 16.803
MPH 81.92

2ND RUN
-------

R/T .825
60' 2.477
330 7.220
1/8 10.991
MPH 65.51
1000 14.219
1/4 16.938
MPH 82.93

3RD RUN
---------
RT .685
60' 2.528
330 7.153
1/8 10.888
MPH 65.90
1000 14.103
1/4 16.819
MPH 82.96

It was fun as hell either way.. I REALLY think I can get into the 16.40's pretty easily by "tweeking" a little.. Anyway.. I guess it is time to shoot down Matt's dreams and aspirations of thinking he did alright, so go right ahead people.. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

If you notice...your third run had the highest trap speed, but the worst 60' time. Did you wheelspin to death or did you bog it off the line? With the increase in speed, I'm betting on wheelspin.

Try to limit the wheelspin by letting the clutch out a tad slower, this should improve your 60' times and lead to lower ET's.

Yeah Random, I guess you could say wheelspin was there.. wink.gif They had just resurfaced the track, and there was NO rubber to get ahold of.. Oh, and on the last run, I almost beat a 305 Camaro. He ran a 16.1, but his reaction time SUCKED! he only beat me to the line by .068.. I would have been happy to beat some American Muscle.. smile.gif

when i went there with 17" with KUMHO ECSTA, INTAKE, and MUFFLER(NOT CAT-BACK) and fasted i ran was 16.23 which is pretty good if I say so my self. SORT OF custom CAI(which fell off like in couple days) and it was pretty cool and dry. maybe that helped a little bit.
there was TURBO civic running 15.5 i was like WHAT THE HELL IS THAT lol
