Wow I just seen this on CNN just 5 minutes ago. The lady said everyone find's it funny except for her because her car is smashed up.

the kid could have tapped the brake and then put it in gear to go...he doesnt have to hit the brake but once...remember he couldnt hit the gas and see at the same time but im sure that he could hit the brake and shift just fine

They never mentioned anything about insurance. The officer was smiling when he was explaining what he felt when he saw the kid.

I think I would get really bored with an auto, I'd shift through all 4 gears just for excitement wait except for reverse lol I know at least that much.

you do get bored with an auto.. even if its sporty... just no fun to drive around... with stick i can go for hours just driving around(back roads, not highway)

i wonder if the kid was smart and had money and wanted like some milk or something... or if he's just evil and wanted to steal the car for a joy ride:firedevil

I wonder how the insurance will cover this...a ticket usually indicates who the gulty party is..guess the insurance companys will have to fight it out in court..unless there's a ticket issued later
