I finally started my Mixed Martial Arts training today. My plan is to try to get in the UFC in a few years. It will probably be about 4 years from now before I really have a shot to get in to it though. I'm training in Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, and kickboxing obviously among other things. I hope to start going to some amateur MMA fights in about a year, maybe two. On my first day I learned a take down by leg sweep and three arm submission holds and threw A LOT of jabs. My right arm is so freaking sore. I'm just very excited and wanted to share with my fellow Hyundai people.

if i was ever punched by you i would die. head, chest, stomach, leg....doesnt matter. death would be my fate.

on that note, i think you will be pretty good. im going to guess that you already have a solid basis for stand-up fighting, so work on the grappling. that seems to be where the super muscle guys get taken down the most. wink1.gif

You're exactly right tibby01. That's the main reason I started the training, to learn technical skills of ground fighting and grappling. IQ, that's cool. What's his name if you don't mind me asking, I'll watch for him. I know I've got a long road ahead of me. I wish I would've started sooner.

Awesome guys, that sounds cool. Maybe we'll see your sorry asses on the Ultimate Fighter, and you can show that you have more balls then the last round of terrible terrible fighters.

Seriously though you guys do have a ton of work ahead of you. But stay motivated, keep them goals in front of you.
