i couldn't hear **** from the wrx's engine even though its stock. looks like he wasn't trying..plus, why are they doing it from the roll? the talon/wrx will smoke the **** out of the neon that way tongue.gif

What makes you think the WRX and Talon would smoke that neon ... THAT neon was the SRT-4.

215hp and a HUGE 245lb of torque ... I'm seriously looking at them when they come to Canada.

From a stand still wrx yes, from a roll...no moon

 

Even from a standstill the WRX MIGHT win off the line due to the AWD but the torque differences are huge the the neon would be pulling ahead before 2nd gear was done.

I used to have a neon with some **** done to it (just the 2.0L) and it was damn fast so I'll never doubt a neon.
handling wise ... I'm sure the WRX would outperform, at least until the neon had proper suspension ... don't forget they have always been one of the best autox cars ever.

uhhh, reality check. that car was an AUTO, it was even confirmed by the person who was holding the camera. the auto wrx does at best 16 flat stock.

 

Dood ... I'm not gonna get into an argument over this ... but WHEN is it confirmed that it's an auto ... I can understand that you don't wanna believe that a 20k neon can beat a 30k+ WRX ... but I honestly think it can.. now the STI will be another story.

Just looking at the sheer numbers how is it so hard for you to fathom that a 'neon' beat it ..
