Read it and weep...this car is gonna seriously fook some people up this summer.

 

i'm not big on dodges, but the srt-4 sounds like a fun, quick car.

 

Yeah...I'm not too crazy about the styling of the car either, but for everything you're getting at a price range of around 20 G's....you can't go wrong.

 

oh yea that car will dominate this summer, dodge also has plans for OE upgrades in horsepower, like 3 different stages in upgrades, the guy at the dealer told me up to 350 ponies jaw_drop

I went to the dealer and they wouldnt let me drive it, i didnt have the tibby tho, they would have if they seen how shiny it was that day, but i asked him if i could start it up, and he hesitantley said yea, so i start it up and hes looking around like he going to get in trouble right, so i start to rev it a little, like up to 1500 right, then im like can i rev it up some more and hes like no, i dont think they will like that, im like, "no its ok, VRRRRROOOM VRRRRROOOM VRROOOM, like 4 times up to 4000, this guy starts ****tin a brick, lookin around like hes going to get fired, lolololol, so he waves his hand at me to get me to kill it, and i look up at him and smile, haha, revved it once more up to like 2500 and turned the key off and let it die, lol, i was really entertaining myself, lol.

anyway, the srt4 rocks, and it will be a force to be recond' with this summer.

 

I just hope it will inspire/force other manufactures to start making more powerful inexpensive cars.

 

They're probably worried about the turbo bearings... though IIRC the car has a shutdown timer, it'll keep running for 2-5 minutes after you turn off the key to let the turbo cool down.

As to the SRT-4 inspiring other makers to build more powerful, cheaper cars... it hasn't in the past, why should it now? Chrysler was in the cheap turbo game from 1985 until 1992...
