I was so glad to hear that they launched it today and with success. I was sadden with the Columbia disaster. I have pretty much grown up with the space shuttle. My grandpa and grandma both worked on them when Rockwell was around and so as with family members. I wish I could have watched it on tv. I heard that they had a camera on the tank for some awesome video. It gave me goosebumps when I was listening to it on the radio.

Saw the launch and it was pretty cool. 12 days in space would be fun as hell!

the movie contact, very good. gives you an idea of how tiny we all are.. picture this.... our solar system is the 9 planets, our galaxy=milkyway. each galaxy has hundreads of thousands of solar systems. so in the milkyway there are other solar systems just like ours. there are hundreds of thousands of galaxies in the universe and in each of those hundreds of thousands of solar systems and each solar system could have more planets than us or less...makes you wonder whether or not we are the only living beings huh. if we are, "thats an awful waste of space"

I will go into space some day. Been a dream for my whole life. It's nice to see them flying again, but I can't wait to see what's next.

What does everyone think about us going back to the moon? And to mars?

I can't wait.

I really do hope we go back to the moon. If nothing else but to silence those consipiracy theorist who claim the first landing was staged.

I remember the very first space shuttle launch when I was in school. I guess it was easy to take it for granted but it's good to see it up again.

I really hope we go back to the Moon real soon. For the fact to show people that we have been there before and I belive it would bring in a new era of space exploration of going further out. Like what they have planned with Mars. It will all start on the Moon.

My life long dream is to go to space. With all this comercial and private projects it could be possible for many people.

I'm still skeptical as to if we ever did land on the moon way back when..
It does make perfect sense why the US would fake it though, gotta be better than them Russians!
